Connect with the Ocean and discover all the underwater treasures it hides, while helping to restore marine ecosystems and plant your own coral.
RuntheWorld and Agua NEA provide you with the opportunity to live a unique adventure where you will learn the magic of coral reefs conservation while discovering marine ecosystems and living incredible underwater experiences with giant turtles, hundreds of species of fish of all sizes and colors, sunken ships in one of the biggest biodiverse paradises in the world.
You will also participate in a marine ecosystem restoration program, where you will learn all about corals, participate in activities with local communities in our first edition of this new RuntheWorld adventure.
The RuntheWorld adventure “Connect with the Ocean” takes place on one of the Pacific coasts of stunning Costa Rica and is designed by and for pure sea lovers who want to participate in marine ecosystem restoration and awareness projects in collaboration with the local community.
A small group of adventurers will have the opportunity to accompany us, Paula Butrageño, the Agua Nea team, and marine biologists from the Samara Coral project. This incredible week will be very focused on nature and the search for connection with the ocean and with Mindfulness and Yoga sessions that will allow us to live a full and conscious experience. We will also visit the surfing paradise of Santa Teresa, the huge waterfalls of Montezuma, the rainforest around Uvita and will end our adventure in Corcovado's National Park. According to National Geographic, this park is called “the most intense in the world, biologically speaking.” The biodiversity of this place is impressive. It is said that there is no place with a similar extension that contains greater biodiversity as found in Corcovado.
