Altruistic Adventure & Safari in Kenya
A journey to live a unique human, sporting and cultural experience.
From August 8 to August 18, 2023
RuntheWorld, partnering with NGOs Chazón and Kirira presents this spectacular adventure full of sport, solidarity, and unique experiences in Kenya, the Home of Champions.
Surely you have often wondered why some countries have small sports cultures and others bring together the best athletes in the world.
This is the case of Kenya, the African country with the most Olympic medals on the continent. In addition, the local athlete Eliud Kipchoge also currently holds the world record in the marathon.
On this trip we will enter the land of Eliud, we will discover why Kenya and especially the Rift Valley area meet the requirements to forge the great champions and world champions of athletics. We will discover their habits, their philosophy of life and their privileged physiology, we will live like one of them for a few days. We will also use the bicycle as a sustainable means of transport to reach unexplored corners and soak up the local culture.
But Kenya is much more, you will discover an incredible country, with wonderful people and above all with spectacular animals. You will see lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, elephants,... closer than ever! In their natural habitat, far away from the big overcrowded safaris.
This trip is a PROSPECTIVE TRIP.
These are trips for people who want to live and enjoy unique and authentic experiences, in very small groups. Accompanying us in what for us are privileged moments, where we enjoy feeling and exploring for the first time everything planned with the greatest possible veracity, as well as solving the unforeseen events that will approach us in the areas that we will visit far from the conventional tourist flows.
As this is our first landing in Kenya, we want to discover little by little, with a lot of humility and respect, the local culture and the work of the social organizations we have selected. It is a journey of discovery, where we are going to meet for the first time several NGOs that have moved us a lot, focused on gender equality, child protection and especially girls.
If you like sport, nature, animals, and cultural immersions, this trip will change you forever.
